The flipped classroom approach is when you give the students the material online before the class. This means that the students are able to learn the material before class. Then, class time can be used for discussion and deeper clarification on the subject at hand. This approach allows the students to gain a better understanding of the information.
An open educational resources are basically an online learning resource that are very accessible. These resources allow teachers to adapt these resources and use them with in their classroom free of charge, it helps broaden their material. The powerpoint assignment was very interesting. In my opinion the non-interactive powerpoint was harder than the interactive powerpoint because it required less steps. Learning all the new skills for powerpoint will be very useful for the future. I liked how I was able to navigate powerpoint easier after doing the first powerpoint assignment. I did not like how tedious everything was though.
