The website that I found is for a 5th grade math class. From first looking at the website you can tell that the teachers audience is very clear. It is designed in a kid friendly way for both the parents and the students to be able to utilize the site. The type of information displayed on the page are assignments for the class on what they will be doing in class for that day, a meet the teacher page, and it has an awesome resources page available for the parents to use with their children.

In the future Technology is going to be bigger than it is now so it will most definitely play a prominent role in my future professional career. I plan on using certain resources such as Excel, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Word in my professional future. These resources are diverse and can be used for multiple things in the work force. They allow you to utilize organizational skills in a simple, non-complex way.
After going to the tech sandbox room I was completely in awe of all the amazing technology resources that they had. One piece of technology that really stood out to me was the Virtual Reality and 3D printing. I have never seen either of these pieces of technology before and it was cool to see how they work. The 3D printer is something that would be really beneficial to classrooms, especially to the science department. If this was implemented in my science classroom it would mean that the students would be able to see things in 3D. For example if we were to study the anatomy of the body we could have 3D print outs of certain bones or organs which would be a really interesting way to learn.

In the past I have used a tremendous amount of techonlogy in the education setting. Throughout high school we used different technologies ranging from smartboards to projectors. We also had a Mac Computer Lab accessbile for students in journalism or yearbook class. Incoming freshman were required to sign up for a intro to technology class to help them get equipped with Word, Power Point, and Excel. In this class I hope to gain knoweldge about the advancemetns of technology. I want to apply those advancements of technology an...

The three questions I asked were  Review your past years at work. Which technologies did you use and how did you use them? How have you used or how will you use new technology in your classrooms?   Do you believe that technology has an impact on how much students focus in class?   Here is the link to my voice thread which is a powerpoint explaining parks answers to my questions! https://voicethread.com/share/13251171/

Using Twitter has been an interesting experience. Prior to this class I would only use twitter for the social aspects. Using it for a class allows you to actually gain some sort of knowledge. The benefits of using twitter as a part of this class are that you can learn new things that developing within the education realm. I get updates from the United States education department almost daily and it is interesting to read the facts that they post.         After completing the Web Design assignment I realized how easy it was to make a website. I have worked with Wix Portfolio before but I didn't remember how to use it. I liked how they have templates already designed for you, it makes the process a lot easier if you're not creative. The only issue I had was when trying to put boxes around text it would not let me edit the text after so I had to copy the text, delete it and create a new text box, which was frustrating. Th...
