      Before this class I had never heard of Diigo. Diigo is an amazing tool that helps to keep your websites you use and it allows to highlight and annotate articles that you are reading. Diigo has already been useful to me outside of this classroom. I used it for another one of my classes to annotate and highlight major points in the article I was reading. This website is something that is going to be extremely useful for me in the future. In the classroom this website will be useful for when I am giving lectures because it will allow me to take notes on what I am discussing and I can refer to those points during my lectures. 
     For each of level of blooms taxonomy they can all be used in PowerPoint form. Each level of Blooms Taxonomy can be explained by using PowerPoints. A power point will allow you to be knowledgeable about the information being presented, the audience is able to comprehend the information and you are using the design/application of PowerPoint to synthesize, analyze and evaluate the information that you are sharing.
       In the classroom technology is growing along with teacher professional development. Teachers are big reason as to why students are exposed to technology. They are exposed to different technologies such as interactive white boards and the use of different Microsoft applications. Teachers always need to be aware of current technology because they can expose that technology to their students. With professional development events such as workshops and conferences teachers will learn new technology to implement in their teachings.

 This website is an article that talks about how technology starts with  professional development. It talks about how implementing technology trainers in the classroom has helped a lot.

      Using Twitter has been an interesting experience. Prior to this class I would only use twitter for the social aspects. Using it for a class allows you to actually gain some sort of knowledge. The flipped classroom approach is when you give the students the material online before the class. This means that the students are able to learn the material before class. Then, class time can be used for discussion and deeper clarification on the subject at hand. This approach allows the students to gain a better understanding of the information. An open educational resources are basically an online learning resource that are very accessible. These resources allow teachers to adapt these resources and use them with in their classroom free of charge, it helps broaden their material. ILP “Design” – Google Classroom

I did my Independent Learning Project on Google Classroom. Google classroom is an essential educational tools for teachers especially when working with online courses. It allows you to post announcements, due dates, any classwork, and it includes a roster with all the students emails.
